I felt unsafe staying in a male dorm as a woman; the hostel seemed shady. The bedsheet was stale, and when I asked for a change the staff got offended. Someone kept smoking in the bathroom all night, which was uncomfortable, especially since other staff were roaming around constantly. The photos online didn't match the reality at all.

The room was spotless and everything was clean, but the check‑in at 1 pm was extremely late—I waited three hours at the reception before they finally handed me the key, even though no one else was in the room yet.

It was a great spot to stay; I really enjoyed the staff, especially the owner who was fantastic, and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Rishikesh.
