“I don't recommend it”

When I arrived at 8 PM with my bags, the host explained that a couple of days earlier the power company overloaded the building’s electrical system, leaving no lights, AC, or anything working, so he couldn’t host me. He didn’t mention this beforehand—only after I got there, even though we’d already been chatting. He then offered me a “similar” place that was nowhere near what I’d booked: a single room with no window, no kitchen, and conditions far below the listing. I had to scramble for alternatives and discuss the situation by 9 PM. Some hosts overbook across platforms to keep the highest price; I’m not a first‑time traveler, but the place had good reviews on Booking.

War ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt die Zimmer waren sehr sauber gewesen, guter Parkplatz und ruhige Lage, nur wenige Minuten Fussweg bis zum Strand und Restaurants, und der Besitzer war super freundlich. wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder

“Bien pour quelques nuits même si la plage est surestimée”

Pas encore si loin de la plage, assez propre et personne accueillante. Quelques cheveux dans la douche au sol mais ça on peut en faire abstraction. Cependant on a été réveillé 17h du matin par les chiens du quartier. Je ne recommande pas car même avec des volets ce n'était pas bien isolé
