The kitchen was spotless and stocked with everything you’d need, and the church made a great backdrop for northern light photos; just remember to bring your own food and drinks because there’s nothing nearby or in the guesthouse. The shower was lovely, and coffee and soap were provided. The downside was that kitchen noises seeped into the bedrooms, a few shelves in the room and bathroom would help, and there’s no place to store items in the bathroom.
The location is great, right at the start of Route F35. The place is clean, has a fully equipped kitchen, and the shared bathrooms are comfortable and tidy.

The spot along the ring road near Blönduós is excellent. The facilities are great, with a cozy living room and a well‑equipped kitchen. The room itself was clean, offered an amazing view, and the receptionist Dolly was the sweetest thing. Einar was very nice and friendly.
We really appreciated that the place was surrounded by nature. The rustic lodging was clean and highly recommended.
