We received good hospitality from the staff. The room was in good condition, clean, with a good set of towels. It had a good kitchen, clean and in good condition for cooking if you wanted to. I recommend a few days of rest because the place is good.

The spot is convenient, but it’s not very quiet and needs renovations to justify the price.

Nothing liked it: the place was filthy, stinky, and the bathroom had some weird smell. Someone told the host that he’d refund the price, but he never did, even though we didn’t book the room. The host should reply in writing, but we immediately notified that we wouldn’t stay.

The house has great potential, but it should only open once all the construction is finished. The address on Booking (and other sites) had the wrong police number. I never got any contact from the owner, no email or phone, and almost had to find another place at the last minute. We arrived just before midnight, rang the number that was supposed to be, and a sleepy man answered saying it wasn’t that place and he didn’t know any Casa Amore on that street. A friendly staff member from Casa do Benfica—right in front of the lodging—helped us out with the owner’s contact and fixed the mix‑up.
