“Terrible experience”

Terrible experience. I booked this hotel more than a month in advance, only to have my reservation cancelled just 2 hours before check-in. I was left stranded in a foreign city with a 3 -month-old baby and a 4-year-old child. By that time, almost all nearby hotels were fully booked, and I had to spend hours searching for an alternative place to stay. In the end, I was forced to book accommodation far away and pay nearly three times the original price. Cancelling a confirmed reservation at the last minute is completely unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. The hotel showed no responsibility and offered no real help. I would strongly advise other travelers, especially families with young children, to avoid this hotel. A confirmed booking here apparently means nothing

The reservation was cancelled on the day of arrival, and that was the only thing I mentioned.

“De prijs/kwaliteit oké”

The spot was fine for us: parking was easy, the bus stop was close, and there were plenty of restaurants and breakfast spots nearby—especially Lobito del Mar. However, the front door was confusing with steps and a strange twist, the shower wasn’t clean, and the Wi‑Fi only had one or two bars. WhatsApp contact worked well, and when the first room smelled bad, they handled it promptly and offered another room, which was lucky.
