I gave this place as a gift to my daughter, but there was a mix‑up because I thought the payment had already been processed by the booking site. When she checked out, the front desk demanded the charge, which surprised her since she had just paid on the spot. The reception staff was rude and unfriendly, a far cry from the helpful attendant we met the day before. She left the hotel happy, only to be met by an unpleasant receptionist at the exit.

The hotel is truly a gem. We’ve been coming back for years and will keep doing so because it’s the perfect spot to unwind, rest, and enjoy a few relaxing days. Even when it’s busy, the sense of calm stays intact, with no crowds or overcrowding. The setting feels magical, the food is spectacular, and the beds are super comfortable, making the stay even more enjoyable. It’s definitely a place we always want to return to and we recommend it for its ability to make every visit feel special. On the downside, although the facilities are generally good, we noticed some areas that could use more upkeep, especially the spa. On the footbridge there were several jets that weren’t working and the ceiling was damaged. Also, a tile was loose near the edge of the heated pool entrance. We’re not sure if this was a one‑off issue, but the water in the florarium was colder than usual and the Roman bath didn’t have the humidity level we expected. Overall, the experience was good, but fixing these details would keep the property in top shape and let guests enjoy it even more.
