The services at Broadway Court Apartelle were fine, but one of our bookings didn’t go through and Broadway can’t trace the confirmation.

“Took a financial hit in walking out, as payment is not refundable, but I preferred that to staying.”

The only thing I liked was leaving the place. Finding it was a nightmare—no sign on the busy road, and the taxi driver lost time searching. Checking in demanded a deposit for possible damage. The moment I stepped into my room, I knew I couldn't stay. The smell was overpowering, stale and musty, as if no fresh air had entered for years; ventilation would take weeks to clear it. The room offered no natural light. Worse, there was no way to cook, and guests had to promise not to cook in the unit. Signs warned against feeding stray animals. I would never return.

“Though of poor quality the room served my desire to be close to the Catholic Basilica.”

The Apartelle’s spot near the Basilica was good, but the room wasn’t the standard advertised, the Wi‑Fi didn’t work, and the walls had peeling paint.
