The hotel's location was great, but the room's design was a bit of a concern for me
The staff were incredibly friendly and made an effort to talk to my kids
The hotel's amenities and services exceeded my expectations
The facilities and building are also brand new, which added to the overall great experience

“Great Place for short term living”
The staff were polite and always ready to help, and I was pleasantly surprised by the sauna; amenities were plentiful on the first floor, and an English‑speaking admin person at a B1 level was available. However, most staff didn’t speak English, and there were no trash bins in the room, so I had to stash rubbish in a plastic bag I brought.
“Exelente”
The room was excellent, clean, and tidy, and the breakfast was amazing and varied 😋😋.
“最高でした。”
The place was spotless, the staff were courteous and helpful, and the breakfast‑included rate was a great value for a weekend stay. The Setokura parking lot was spacious and only cost ¥800 per day, the breakfast buffet offered plenty of choices and kept my daughters full and happy from the start, and both the large public bath and dining hall felt roomy and comfortable. I found nothing inconvenient and would gladly return if I’m in the area again.
“よかった”
The breakfast tasted good, but it started late.
The bath, amenities and meals were all excellent. Because the hotel’s lot was full, I had to park off‑site, and when I asked the front desk if I could leave my car there until checkout—since a spot opened up early for those leaving at dawn—they told me I could only park there while loading luggage. My mother, who is showing early signs of dementia, would have needed someone to stay with her at the front desk while I fetched the car, which made me uneasy; I wish we could have left the car there. (We happened to bring her to the room while I talked to the front desk, so she was on the phone with a friend.) This was my first trip with someone who has mild dementia, and it showed me I need to research more beforehand.
