The location was gorgeous right beside the citadel, and the breakfast far surpassed my expectations. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, making everything hassle‑free. The three‑old house was stunning, quirky, and delightful.

This was our second visit, and the accommodation was comfortable, fully equipped, and full of character. The hosts did a skilful and attractive restoration of several exceptionally interesting adjoining old buildings in the historic heart of town. Breakfast, included, was very good, and the garden offered a chance to relax and sketch the lovely views. Being there was a pleasure.

The charm of the house in the medieval quarter, the owners’ hospitality, and the bike storage were all great.

The rooms were spacious, clean, with a nice second‑hand style décor, decent bedding (140), and bathrooms ranging from older to newer. The common areas and circulation zones were far less good: poorly maintained, cluttered, and dusty. Breakfast and reception were acceptable but nothing special.
