This place is a hidden gem, tucked away near the Koringlandsrivier, just a stone's throw from Swellendam's centre. My apartment was a real treat – colourful and spacious, with a self-catering unit and a balcony that offered stunning mountain views. It's perfect for families with kids who love a bit of magic, as they can spot all sorts of creatures in the garden, from gnomes to dragons.

We stumbled upon this artist's house and it was a real gem - the locked parking lot outside was a bit of a mystery, but it added to the charm. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the Main Street with its restaurants and cafes. The room was cozy, with a tiny kitchen and a lovely garden where you could eat or relax. We'd definitely come back.

We were lucky to stay in this beautiful, artistically decorated house, where the owner was incredibly kind and welcoming. The little balcony on the first floor was our go-to spot, and we loved the nearby restaurants, especially Christelle's Bistro and Grace and Merci for lunch. Just a heads up that the rooms are upstairs and the garden visit is an extra cost.

The hotel was a great find, especially considering its proximity to our destination. The room was clean, modern, and had everything we needed. We appreciated the secure off-street parking, which gave us peace of mind. The only thing that kept me from giving it a full five stars was the bed, which was a bit too soft for my liking.

This place is a real gem, but don't expect a five-star experience. The staff are super friendly and the decor is straight out of a quirky art gallery - I loved the vintage posters and weird sculptures in the lobby. The room was small but spotless, and the bed was comfy, but the real letdown was the noise from the street outside - it was like they'd forgotten to put in any soundproofing. Still, for the price, it's a great little find and I'd definitely stay here again.
