Maison Sherman's house

L'emplacement, à 30 minutes de tout. La salle à manger et le service. La nourriture offerte était très savoureuse. L'accueil, la bienveillance et le sourire de l'hôte. Le bel escalier et les boiseries. Le manque de propreté de la salle de bain et les portions peu généreuses du déjeuner.

J'adore les petits déjeuners où l'on échange avec les autres clients. J'ai trouvé les serviettes un peu rapées et j'aurais aimé une débarbouillette ou gant de toilette

“Not again, even if desperate.”

He attempted to make me some breakfast with no meat. That was nice, but too little too late. Reviews matter. I do not ever want to write a bad nor good review unless it is undeserving. I don't want to mess up a person's business nor give them more business if they should not have it. I have thought about this review for a while. I have decided to write it. I made the reservation for this place at 5 am the day I was going to arrive. gave me an option of stating when I would be arriving. I gave my best guess, which ended up being accurate within twenty minutes. From 5 am until about 7.30 pm when I was almost there and then lost cell service I had not heard anything, not even a confirmation nor door code. I assumed therefore that all was ok and there was no keypad. When I arrived, there was indeed a keypad and a locked door. I knocked (what else could I do?). No reply. I saw people inside. They did not move. I kept knocking. Then I moved to the side door of the house. This was clearly where the owner lived, I felt bad to bother him, but um, no, I paid for this and can't get in. I knocked and knocked. Eventually he showed up. From the first second he was rude. I do speak French and began in that so that is no excuse here. He told me that he sent me a message telling me he does not accept guests after 8pm. Now, as I said, he had over twelve hours since I booked to let me know that after I said I'd be there late evening. He sent a message after I had lost service, so just before 8 and many, many hours after he should have. Since I was there and had brought him to the door, he was "kind" enough to let me stay for my paid room. But, as he walked me there he told me the room I had reserved, with a private bath, was no longer available so I had a different room (he offered no refund for the lesser room). He also then told me that internet was not available in the room. He tried to make it all better the next morning at breakfast. I did not feel any better. I appreciate that he tried, but what a terrible feeling he gave me there

“Cozy place with great breakfast”

The breakfast was good, and the hotel sits close to the mountain.

The host is welcoming, the place is clean and well‑situated, and the dinner and lunch are very good; the setting is quiet and picturesque. The Wi‑Fi is a bit slow.
