The Original Desert Camp is a small (6 tents) camp, which we really liked; during our stay in mid‑March we were the only guests, so the sense of solitude was exactly what we wanted. However, being surrounded by larger camps, we could hear generators at night, quads passing by at sunrise, noon, and sunset, and the light pollution in the desert made stargazing difficult. The transfer to the camp costs 60 €, which is too expensive, but when you consider accommodation, transfer, and meals as a package it’s acceptable.
