The owner’s warm welcome and the cozy atmosphere made the place feel very pleasant; the rooms were spacious and well furnished, the kitchen was equipped and the garden was large. The setting was warm and the Wi‑Fi was supposedly available, though it was marked as unavailable. The only downside was that the sponge for washing dishes was missing.

The location of the guesthouse, the generous courtyard, and all the extra facilities—wood stove, sauna (both available for an additional fee, which we think is fair given the time invested and the amount of wood needed for heating), swings, hammock, trampoline for kids, a relaxation room with foosball, house drinks, and ice cream included in the price—were all great. The hosts did everything possible to make us feel at home. I especially appreciated that the owner spent whole hours heating the freshly cleaned wood stove to the ideal temperature; it was an effort that made us feel a bit embarrassed, and we thank him again. The cabin itself is charming, built from logs, with custom-made solid wood furniture that blends with the overall style. The ground‑floor space dedicated to the kitchen, bar, and dining area is very generous, even more than needed for the eight guests the cabin can host in its four rooms, but it’s perfect for events. It’s a pleasure to simply explore the cabin and courtyard, a real source of inspiration for interior and exterior design. The only negative was that the sound insulation between rooms on the same side of the hallway was insufficient; the wall made only of logs cannot provide this isolation, and respecting the log architecture means this loss in comfort. An insulation upgrade would be worthwhile, even if it might seem to reduce the charm. Three log walls remain, which is absolutely enough for atmosphere, beauty, and thermal comfort.
