The facility is gorgeous, and I made use of the spa and the in‑house dinner options. However, the elevators shut on me while I was entering and exiting, which was frustrating—especially since I’m 72 and moving slowly.

The location is really excellent, just about 2 blocks from the Plaza. Santa Fe can be hard to navigate, but Eldorado is basically the best spot for convenience. The pool area looks better than it actually is; the pool itself is quite small and only suitable for kids. The lounge chairs are fine if you want to bask in the sun. The hot tubs might have been interesting, but the water was green during my stay. The bed was comfortable, but the legs that STICK OUT posed a serious hazard and could have injured toes—my first night I suffered a debilitating injury that really ruined my vacation.

The hotel is excellent, with friendly staff and a great location.

The location is good. My room wasn’t ready until 5 :30, and although I had booked a king, I was given a queen room with no explanation.

The location is perfect, and the staff were all very helpful. I appreciated that I could bring a friend to the pool. Nothing else to note.
