“This once funky motel is now a tired motel”
The location was perfect—right on the beach—and the staff were friendly, efficient, and helpful, yet the pool was out of use, apparently for a long time, and I had no Wi‑Fi for 1.5 days of my 2‑day stay before it became weak; there were also several insects in the room, which made me think the room hadn’t been used recently.
“We enjoyed to stay at the Falcon Resort”
It was a nice place with friendly staff and a beautiful view, though the internet connection was poor.
“Beautiful beach, motel needs a lot of work”
The only thing that earned the motel any stars for me was its location and beach access—the beach is the best, and I just wish the motel itself were better. The owner was incredibly rude; a family traveling with us had a room with a major roof leak and she only offered buckets to collect the water, which we declined and demanded a new room, only to have them move us again without any reimbursement or apology. The rooms are terrible: the beds are hard, there are webs on every ceiling, and mildew in the bathtub. I stayed here years ago and it was much nicer then; since the owner passed away six months ago it seems the place has gone downhill. The location is great, but I would never stay here again.
The location was solid, but the owner was rude and the room felt dirty.
“Will not be staying there again.”
The beach was fine, but our stay at the Falcon was literally one problem after another. Over 6 days we had 3 different rooms, each with its own issues. On night 1 the key broke in the lock and we had to have the lock replaced. On night 2 the ceiling started leaking because it had been raining, water came in through the kitchen ceiling, soaked the floors, and filled pots—front desk offered a bucket but didn’t give us a new room until we demanded it. Another room leaked water through a light fixture onto the bed and was occupied within 24 hrs of the leak without any repair. They even tried moving us back to that leaky room without fixing the ceiling or checking for mold, which we refused. In room 2 the air‑conditioner condenser was completely frozen and didn’t work until it melted, and the pool stayed green the whole time we were there, open but clearly neglected. The motel is in total disrepair; the owners don’t seem to care about guests’ comfort. The rooms are pretty dirty, the beds are old and super uncomfortable. It’s a family‑run motel with the mom running the desk—she is very unhelpful, rude, and clearly doesn’t care about customer satisfaction. I dealt with one of the sons once and he was pleasant, but for the most part there is no staff around the motel at all.
