The stay was otherwise fine, but I had to point out a terrible smell coming from the bathroom or the septic tank system that was obvious at night and really bad. I had to open the roof Velux and the room doors wide to try to vent the gas, which was extremely unpleasant. I tried to tell the host about it over breakfast, but there were other guests in the room at the same time and we had to leave. The host needs to be aware of this foul gas because it could seriously affect someone.

“Very enjoyable, location by the river is beautiful”

The hosts were very friendly, gave a warm welcome, and were very accommodating – they even booked a local restaurant for me that’s 6 km away. The bed was lovely and comfortable, the shower was hot, and my motorcycle was locked behind metal gates so I felt at ease. 5 stars.

The hosts were lovely and even tolerated our poor French! The breakfast was the best – absolutely delicious 😋
