I stayed in the heart of Sofia at an IHG hotel that lived up to the brand’s reputation: the staff were polite and welcoming, valet parking was available, check‑in was quick, the restaurant had a terrace, the spa was lovely, and the room was spacious – all the essentials for a comfortable stay, and the team was very accommodating when I had to change my departure date. Highly recommend!

We received a different room than the one we booked – an old, depressing room. When we asked the front desk to show us a replacement, they took us to another floor, and the room we finally got still had a barely cooling air‑conditioner, weak water pressure, and the fan only blew cold air. This is not what you expect from a 5‑star hotel.
