“Wonderful hospitality, right next to the beautiful bamboo trek trail”
The guesthouse sits at a superb location right at the start of the bamboo trek trail, looks freshly renovated, and the shop next door served hot cooked food any time of day. I could communicate easily with the host and my messages were always answered via chat. The hospitality and kindness of the people were the biggest positives, as they worked hard to make our stay comfortable. The only downsides were thin walls and windows that let in some noise, especially with construction in the small village, and it can get cold in the morning during winter; the thick blanket they gave helped a lot. The mattress was very hard, which could be an issue if you’re not used to it. Overall, the positives outweigh the negatives and I’d highly recommend staying here if you want to be near the exciting bamboo trek.
