Jefferson was incredibly friendly and helped us with everything we needed; the pool was clean but shallow, the rooms were spacious, and the old building felt cozy, though the bedding could use an update because the sheets look worn and some are stained.

Ms. Anu is a wonderful woman and everything else is fine, but the hotel needs a lot of maintenance: the bathrooms lack toilet lids, there are no power outlets, and there are small things that could be improved.

The tranquility was great, except for one night when the house next door made a ruckus with music at dawn. The toilet paper ran out and we had to wait until the staff brought it from the center of Melgar, which made it hard to get breakfast, lunch, and dinner—those aren’t sold there.

The hotel looks nice, but while the booking says no upfront payment is required, the manager warns that if you don’t pay before arrival the room won’t be available.
