Breakfast could be better; you had to ask for items. It was annoying that you had to request them, and they were hard to deal with.

Instead of a room, there’s a fully equipped apartment, with a TV in both the living room and a separate bedroom. The furnishings are cozy and clean, and the bathroom is modern. We had booked a “room with breakfast,” but we didn’t see that the breakfast would be taken in the room in the description. It’s fine, though. The main issue was that there was practically no variety at breakfast. Six slices of cheese, four slices of ham, six eggs, assorted jams in single portions, a bag of orange juice, a large cup of fruit yogurt, and a handful of cocktail tomatoes are a bit sparse for three breakfasts for two people. No cereal or milk at all. Guests expect more. Coffee and scrambled eggs are cooked, the table has to be set and cleared, and you have to wash up yourself. We could have ordered more, but the host should have been more proactive in asking if you had any additional requests. Also, the bread delivery at the door only started at 9 am, which felt late, especially on the departure day. Why not put a list with check‑boxes on the door for what you might want next day or what’s missing? There is clearly room for improvement.

Very close to the beautiful De Koog beach, the place was spotless and well furnished; better rolls and coffee would make people willing to pay a bit more. The rolls in a perforated bag placed on the carpet outside the door is unacceptable, and the reception felt unwelcoming, so we probably wouldn't return.
