The hotel’s location is perfect for walking around Naples and for taking train trips to the surrounding areas, and the staff were friendly.

The rooms are large.

On our first night (September 20), the entire hotel went completely dark. When we came back around 7:00 PM with our toddlers, there was no electricity. The blackout lasted four hours until power returned at 11:00 PM. During that time we had no lights, no power, and no access to basic facilities, so we couldn’t bathe or put the kids to bed. The situation was made worse by the hotel’s handling of it: they gave no proactive updates or information, and guests had to keep walking down to reception to ask for answers, only to be told repeatedly that it would be fixed “soon.” After power was back, management didn’t reach out to explain or apologize. The next day we asked reception for a partial refund for the ruined first night, but they refused and offered only a free breakfast, which is totally inadequate when we paid €778.50 for a functional 4‑star experience.

The hotel is very well situated in the historic centre, and the staff were very friendly.

The location and breakfast were good, but the facilities, reception, and furnishings were lacking; it really isn’t a true four‑star hotel.
