We stayed in a cozy little cottage room that was very comfortable and pretty; the hotel had a lovely atmosphere, rich history, and a prime spot for exploring the local area.

The grounds were beautiful, the staff very friendly, and the location great, yet the lodges could use a modern touch and the breakfast quality could improve.

The location was amazing, everything we needed was available, and the view was great, but the place felt a bit run down, needed a refresh, and there was no Wi‑Fi so we could only watch one TV channel.

Dog friendly room, staff and bar. The lack of marked dog friendly walking routes would put me off staying again. No one I asked knew the way to go, and I got lost and ended up on the golf course dodging balls
