“A Cotonou, sull'oceano”
The spot is right on the beach, the cleanliness is great, and the staff are very helpful. Unfortunately, the shower isn’t the best.

The bathroom emitted unpleasant odors from the drain.

The spot right on the beach with sea views was great, but the staff were sometimes friendly and sometimes very uninterested. The rooms were damp with a strong moisture smell, many mold spots on the ceiling, some peeling paint, and the beds were extremely soft. The bathroom was attached to the room and open; the shower wasn’t properly connected, so water flooded the bathroom during use. The water had a very strong, unpleasant odor and we think we got sick from it—everyone ended up with diarrhea or vomiting. The room was never cleaned or towels changed during the six days. Breakfast was okay but very limited, the same each day, and only available from 8 am, which was inconvenient for appointments. One day the person preparing it wasn’t there until 8:45 am, so it just didn’t happen. Over several days the same stale milk was offered repeatedly, just placed in the coffee cups. The place has potential and hosts various events (which can be loud), but that isn’t utilized.

The breakfast could be better, but the surroundings were not great.

The staff listened and were caring, the restaurant was good, I ate very tasty beef skewers, the terrace was nice and the room spacious, close to the Amazone statue! It’s also calm. The breakfast was complete (bread, omelette, hot drink). The cleanliness was an issue; the room seemed unused for a long time, smelled stuffy with a lot of dust, same on the terrace and tap water had a smell, and unfortunately the bread at breakfast seemed to have sand in it, a small problem. Parking was an issue; the car’s lower part touches the sidewalk too high.
