Beautiful place—climb to the peak for a stunning view! The rooms are large and comfy with nice linen and a big bathroom, breakfast is good, the pool is clean, and the views are spectacular. It’s quite remote, but that might be a plus.

The property is beautiful, I love the gardens, the rooms were comfortable, and my friends and I had a great time at the bonfire. The food was a big problem: the karekare was extremely sweet and we left it; the gravy on the fried chicken was also inexplicably sweet, so we left that too; the chicken in the soup was raw. Beautiful place but the food is really horrible—please fix that.

The resort looks stunning and the staff are genuinely friendly, but the drains emitted a strong odor even after the toilets were cleaned.
