The hotel is close to the airport and the beds were very comfortable, but I couldn’t reach the hotel without a local SIM; having a WhatsApp number for booking airport transfers via Wi‑Fi would be helpful.

We stayed here last year with a lot of enthusiasm, but this time the novelty had faded; still, the hotel is good and its main perk is that despite the nearby airport and runways, the rooms remain quiet, allowing for a proper sleep—if I have long layovers in Guangzhou again, I’ll definitely return.

Free shuttle to and from the airport, plus free washers and dryers—great after leaving a jungle lodge before heading to China. Breakfast was good, the bed comfortable and the room quiet except for a neighbor who kept leaving an alarm on. The lobby had a vending machine with reasonable prices, and from 10 pm to midnight there were snacks in containers. Plenty of hot water for showers. The only downside was the neighbor’s alarm.
