The towels felt thin, tiny and looked pretty worn out. In the ensuite the vanity basin was dirty and showed its age, and the shower screen was cracked. The oven still needed a solid clean, and the food dishes were far from spotless either.
“Served our purpose to attend nearby wedding. Spacious for 3 families. We enjoyed the farm location”
Our little unit was self‑contained, comfy, and just a stone’s throw from everything we wanted to do. The only hiccup was finding the entrance the first night – it’s pretty hard to spot in the dark.
“还行性价比,卫生可以再好一点”
The place sits right at a crossroads, so getting to the nearby towns was a breeze, and the host was quick to share useful tips. We loved the oranges and figs growing in the garden – they were really tasty. On the downside, some corners were neglected, a lot of dust and tiny bugs showed up, especially in the drawers, which isn’t great if you have kids. The cookware and cleaning tools also feel a bit dated and could use an upgrade.
Staying here felt like being in a real family farm – hay bales, cows, calves, and the beautiful Ovens River made for great photo ops and even a chance to skip stones. The bedding, though, is getting old; the sheets, pillows and towels could do with a refresh.
