Everything was close to all the services, and the staff were very friendly—especially the older lady who was kind despite her limited English. The room’s cleanliness was honestly awful; while the rooms were dusty, the area behind the TV and under the mattress had not been cleaned for weeks or even months.

I spent three nights here and it was all right. The rooms are set far back from the street, so it stays quiet and calm. The rooms are spacious enough and the private balcony is a treat where you can eat, read, and breathe in cool air when the room gets hot. The owner is nice and gentle, and her daughter Molina speaks good English, so you can ask either of them if you have any questions. Tham Chang cave is only a 15‑minute walk away, where you can swim and explore the cave on your own (admission 30,000 kip for foreigners – Summer 2026). The only thing that would make it perfect is if they had a ventilator in the room.

The location is excellent. The room was a bit dirty and there were too many mosquitoes coming out of the wood, which kept me from sleeping and made the heat feel oppressive.

We had an entire wooden bungalow all to ourselves, which was fantastic. It was clean, comfortable, and in a perfect spot. The owner was very kind and sweet, and we ended up staying longer because we loved the place so much.

The lady who runs it is very friendly, it’s very cheap, and the location is perfect, but the bathroom looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in five years, the walls are full of dampness and mold, and the window is just a meter from a huge construction site that starts at 7 am and ends at 6 pm. I find it very bad that I wasn’t notified about this so I could change the reservation. I didn’t rest at all. I advise asking before booking.
