Everything was great, especially the ping‑pong table and the huge common area; it felt like staying in a country house, even the sofa bed was comfy. We could leave our stuff until the evening, the plumbing was nice and the location convenient, and we’d love to come back.

The location is good and it’s fairly clean, but if you’re sensitive to noise you’ll notice the walls are super thin, so you hear conversations in adjacent rooms, footsteps in the shared lounge, people playing tennis or cooking, and the train passing by every time.

The administrator, Ms. Tetiana, had incredible patience and friendliness, but that doesn’t cover the place’s shortcomings. It feels stuck in the ’90s: the description never says the kitchen is shared, which is a nightmare. I didn’t cook or touch any dishes, yet I demanded the listing be corrected. At 22:00 I opened the door expecting my private apartment, but there was a huge hall, shoes, and a “Pioneer camp” vibe while I searched for my room, and I heard everything from the other four rooms in the corridor. From 8 AM the smell of other people cooking lingered in my room. I just wanted to pack and leave. The boiler took forever to heat enough water for a two‑person shower, and I felt cheated the whole time. The owners seem unaware that automatic key‑box systems exist; why involve bar staff with keys when you could automate it? The whole process felt like a quest through three floors, past shops and kids’ centers, in a commercial building. We booked a week in advance, but there was almost nothing to choose from on Booking, and the rating didn’t help me avoid this mistake.

We only stayed a day, but the lobby was nice, the shared kitchen had everything for cooking, and there’s a communal fridge. The spot is well‑located and a supermarket is across the street; on the first floor there’s a café called Don Japan that’s tasty. The train is very loud, the sound‑proofing is terrible, you can hear other residents walking down the corridor, and it was hard to carry a heavy suitcase up to the fourth floor.
