The view and location of the hotel are great, but there was no coffee or tea in the room.

A hotel right in nature, just a 5‑minute drive from the city center full of restaurants, and only two steps from the bike trail under the promontory where the castle overlooks. It’s a family‑run place with a typical “agricolo” style of Northern European villages, offering a 10‑point value for money. The fair in Stuttgart is only about twenty kilometres away, but on fair days it takes a bit longer to get there because of the traffic. The only downside was that the restaurant was not operating.

It’s a nice hotel for a good price, with a comfortable and spacious bedroom that feels a little old‑fashioned but clean and fine; breakfast was good and the staff were helpful.

The hotel feels old but clean, with good beds, a decent breakfast, and I think it’s run by a family. The staff are very friendly and want to make your stay enjoyable. There’s no on‑site restaurant, but across the street is a great Italian place. We’ve been here before on a layover because of the large parking lot, which is handy for a trailer, and it’s right next to the highway, another convenience. In the evening you can take a nice stroll through the woods, along the water, and over the fields. Nothing really stands out as negative; it’s just a solid layover hotel.
