The hotel is a 20-minute bus ride from Lausanne's centre and 10 minutes from Ouchy. Enjoy fine local cuisine, including fresh lake fish, at the on-site restaurant or on the scenic terrace. Public parking is available nearby, and a public transport card for the Lausanne region is offered free of charge.

The location is fantastic, and a room with a balcony is worth the extra cost! Unfortunately, on both of our evenings early in the week we couldn't have dinner because the restaurant was booked for events; we only found out when we arrived. The breakfast buffet isn’t worth it – it’s better and cheaper to grab one or two coffees with a proper croissant or pain au chocolat, since the buffet only offers the mini versions that seem to come from a package.

The location, the hotel’s identity, and the restaurant were all positive, but there was nothing to complain about.

The staff were exceptional and the restaurant was awesome, and the included breakfast was great. It’s close to the lake ferry for trips to Montreux and/or Geneva, but the room was just too small.

The view was spectacular, yet the two pillows were not identical—one was really soft—and we only had a single coffee capsule in the room.
