Two rooms—Deluxe Twin and Deluxe Double—were booked at Solis Boutique Hotel for my parents and their friends, who stayed for four days. They all found the hotel clean, the rooms tidy and comfortable for the price, and the location superb for exploring Istanbul. The area felt safe, and the atmosphere was calm and respectful, with no unpleasant odors and easy‑to‑use stairs. Breakfast was decent for the cost, but the real highlight was the staff’s exceptional customer service and kindness. Everyone was respectful, welcoming, and genuinely eager to help; the breakfast and dining staff were especially polite and considerate. Whenever anything was needed, the team responded and worked hard to resolve concerns instead of just acknowledging them. I’d like to give a special thanks to Salman, a wonderful Sudanese staff member, whose attentiveness and hospitality made a real difference. The hotel was also very responsive and accommodating even before the reservation: I reached out to several hotels while planning, and Solis Boutique was by far the most helpful, answering questions, providing information, and meeting our needs from the start. On the downside, the Wi‑Fi was extremely weak and unreliable, and there was no working internal telephone in the rooms, which would have made contacting reception easier. One room’s refrigerator initially didn’t work, but the staff fixed it promptly after we reported it. The terrace disappointed: it had clothes‑drying racks and no tables as shown in the pictures; the hotel offered a few small chairs, but they were insufficient for a comfortable seating area. Housekeeping also fell short: rooms weren’t cleaned automatically, so my parents and friends had to request it themselves. It would be more convenient if rooms were cleaned regularly without guests asking, or at least every two days as the hotel had initially promised. Still, the rooms were clean, and the staff responded immediately whenever cleaning was requested.
