“Fijn, rustig, kleinschalig hotel. Met extra aandacht voor de hygiene niets op aan te merken.”
A cozy, small hotel just around the corner from MRT Da'an, Exit 1, with a pleasant vibe and a nearby café that serves tasty breakfasts (including Taiwanese), bowls, and coffee. In the evenings it’s a nice spot to read a book. Free coffee, tea, and cookies are available in the hallway. The beds sleep well and the shower is great. The location is perfect for trips to Taipei 101, Elephant Mountain, Da'an Forest Park, Maokong, and Tonghua night market. Both rooms had a dehumidifier; we didn’t feel damp, but when we moved the bunk in the sleeping room with its own bathroom a bit from the wall we spotted mold on the wall, which isn’t fresh and seems easy to fix. The top bunk in the three‑person room isn’t safe for small children, despite the suggestion to place the large wall pillows on the open rail. Our rooms were dusty, especially in corners and under the bed, and we reported this at reception.
