The room smelled like gasoline right from the door, which was unacceptable. We were given room 201 and the odor was already present. I think this should have been addressed. Otherwise, everything was fine.

The room had a lovely terrace, and the staff, including the housekeepers, were very friendly and helpful. Dinner at the restaurant was good, and the bar offered excellent tapas. The only downside was that breakfast only included toast and coffee, even though it was part of the price; tapas were only available for purchase at the bar.

The room was clean, but it smelled like fuel, and the reception smelled the same. They changed the room for us. The rooms don’t have double walls, and the neighbor kept snoring loudly, so I couldn’t sleep.

Being on the outskirts made the area very quiet. The restaurant food was tasty and the waiters were friendly. It could be a great hotel if they improved some basic maintenance and services that any hotel offers. The lacquer on the bathtub was completely peeling in some places. There was no iron or fridge in the room, and when I asked for an iron at reception they looked at me as if I were crazy. I’ve traveled worldwide and this is the first hotel I’ve known that doesn’t have an iron. There was no breakfast service on the weekend; you could only get something at the café. A dog was howling at night and kept us awake, and when we told them, they said there was no dog, and mysteriously it stopped howling after we mentioned it. I love dogs, so it wasn’t a problem, but we were worried about it and don’t think guests should be lied to.
