Hotel Windsor

The location was great—just a few minutes by train from the airport. The rooms were very clean. The hotel had a cool, antique vibe with beautiful old‑world furnishings. However, breakfast was a big let‑down. Every morning we arrived an hour before breakfast ended, but the hot meat dishes were already gone and the staff refused to replenish them. The only hot option left was a casserole. When we asked for more meat, we were told there was none left. We were harassed 45 minutes before breakfast finished, as if everything would be taken away soon. This is unacceptable for a four‑star hotel. The mattress was very soft, and our room’s windows faced the street, making it very noisy.

A huge, tasty breakfast buffet, friendly staff, clean room, and superb location with the S‑train right outside the door.

The breakfast, costing 18 euros per person, was decent. When we arrived at 15:15, there was no one at the reception or anywhere in the hotel, so we had to locate the room key ourselves and spent an hour figuring out where to leave our car overnight. The room also lacked a minibar.

“Ouderwets hotel met mooi ingerichte kamer, maar met dramatische ontvangst”

The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a wide variety and very welcoming staff. The room was spacious, the beds were good, and the bathroom looked nice, plus there was air conditioning. On arrival, the reception was a disaster – no receptionist, so I had to figure everything out myself. I eventually found a key, but the parking garage was a complete mystery with no signs. The Wi‑Fi was impossible to locate; when I called the listed number, they first scolded me for reading the “sign” (what sign?) and only later gave me a password that didn’t work. Overall, it felt very unfriendly. The next morning, a very kind front‑desk lady asked how we had the key, claiming we hadn’t checked in yet, and after I explained, she seemed clueless and immediately informed the management with a thousand apologies.

“Not recomended”

The location is very good and near the station. -The room smelled like curry, specially the sheets. I told the staff and they changed the sheets but not much changed. -Everything in the hotel is old, including towels and sheets (which was torn and had holes), the furnitures makes noises. -The room is super small, the bathroom is outside of the room, and there is no sleepers to use to walk to the bathroom
