Cozy private rooms just a 5‑minute walk from Hirikiteya Beach; I loved the spot and the hosts—friendly family who helped us all day and night—so I’d 100 % recommend.

The host was pleasant and the area peaceful, though the shower pressure was a bit low and there was no AC, only a fan to manage.

The place sits right between Hiriketiya Beach (10 min walk via the shortcut down the road) and Blue Beach (5 min walk), and Dickwella Beach is about a 30‑minute walk away; it’s a small, cozy guesthouse that served fresh Sri Lankan breakfast daily, perfect for a quiet retreat from crowds and noise.

A cheap little place in Hiriketiya, perfectly located in a very quiet and charming neighbourhood! We ended up staying two nights longer.
