The resort sits on beautiful grounds right on the beach, and the restaurant offers a view over the ocean; breakfast is nice, and we could grab a snack or cocktail from the restaurant just beside the pool. Snorkelling gear is available at reception for a very low cost, and our rooms, located in a new section of the resort, were clean and modern. However, the resort is a few kilometres out of town, making it hard to reach more restaurants and bars, and the taxi fare was more expensive than in other areas.

Honestly, I’m not sure. I did not find the cleanliness as promised, and I was disappointed with the hotel overall; I even considered switching hotels during the stay. The word “Resort” is really inappropriate. We were in standard rooms and could hear everything happening in the corridor.

Reception was not very pleasant; the standard room had a wall view, and when I asked for a bungalow with a terrace and paid the difference, the response was not full. After a walk and an early morning wake‑up, I saw an available one, but the receptionist’s welcome was icy.
