The staff were friendly and helpful. However, the room was dirty; the space under the bed hadn’t been cleaned, was dusty and had debris. Awful. The blanket for the bed was just tossed in a pile, not folded in the cupboard.
“Very enjoyable stay”
The location is great—just a one‑to‑five‑minute walk to Chinese food, pizza, fish & chips, and other spots, right in the middle of the garden city. Nothing else to note—very comfortable.
I liked the place.
Beds and breakfast were fine. The fan in our room needed replacing; it ran either flat out or even louder.
“Breakfast!”
The room was clean and roomy, but the breakfast was a disappointment—only cheap cereals, thin toast, instant coffee, and margarine that didn’t even taste like butter. It’s included in the price, so I’d suggest cutting the cost and ditching the breakfast entirely.
