The photos don’t reflect the reality of the room—it’s much smaller and “old” than expected. The location is central, but given the tiny village, it isn’t really an advantage because the whole village is finished within 15 minutes on foot. We arrived an hour after check‑in and still had to wait another hour because the room wasn’t ready: 1) you should notify me if you’re late; 2) you can’t assume that waiting two hours after my check‑in is acceptable; 3) the owner was also rude, saying “the room isn’t ready, you have to wait another hour but make sure you arrive on time because I close at 16:30.” SORRY?? even?? Because of this delay we missed the view of the Rocca, since we would have had to arrive by 16:30. The breakfast is included in the price, so it’s a service I paid for; when the lady handed us the keys she said, “I’m not coming in the morning tomorrow, so tell me what you want and I’ll leave it on the table” (because we were the only ones, the other rooms were free, so she didn’t want to open for breakfast). I repeat, it’s a service I paid for, so I don’t see why I should make coffee by myself with the machine and eat a slice of cake left over from the previous day. The lady was rude throughout the stay, at least we only stayed one day. Also, the room was adjacent to the restaurant’s dining room: I understand and respect the workers, but they made noise until 23:00… in theory it was supposed to be a relaxing weekend…
