The family Dransfeld were very friendly hosts, the dinner was tasty and plentiful with great value. The room was large, quiet and clean, and I enjoyed my stay. A second pillow would have been nice.

The accommodation was well suited for visiting the Landesgartenschau. We were satisfied with the price‑performance ratio. For a short stay we would book the hotel again. Nothing to note otherwise.

The reception was very friendly. Parking on the courtyard was convenient. The central location let us walk around the city easily, and we felt comfortable. The breakfast was adequate and the coffee was excellent, but I personally missed an egg at breakfast. Perhaps that’s just my taste, but an egg usually belongs on a breakfast menu. Our room was very clean, no complaints there. However, the staircase to it, the windows, and the curtains are a mirror of the furnishings!

Zentrale aber trotzdem ruhige Lage , Bushaltestellen 100 m , hauseigenes Restaurant mit top Essen , nettes Personal , toller Biergarten gleich dahinter ideal auch zum Rauchen , super Preise für Getränke im Kühlschrank ( Limos , Wasser , Bier nur 1 € ) , PKW Stellplätze auch gleich dahinter , Frühstück akzeptabel , Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Gaststätten in 5 - 10 min. erreichbar , bequeme Betten. Frühstück gerade ausreichend , kein Rührei , gekochte Eier nur auf Nachfrage diese Kosten auch noch extra , keine Salate , Honig alle und kein Nachschub , Brot nur auf Nachfrage , Brötchen nicht frisch - weich und kaum zu schneiden - kein Brotmesser , im Zimmer keine wirkliche Verdunkelung möglich , Rollos vor und nicht am Fenster , Öffnen also nur möglich nach hochziehen der Rollos , bei angekippten Fenstern gerade Nachts klappern und klimpern die Rollos , ein paar schwere Vorhänge oder dichte Rahmenrollos wären wünschenswert , keine Klimaanlage aber auch kein Ventilator erhältlich gerade im Sommer
