The staff were incredibly kind and helpful; the Reception directed us to the outdoor laundry on our first morning, the barman kept an eye on guests, and the waiters and other staff were all very pleasant, making the hotel feel very friendly. The food at the restaurant Pero was outstanding, the location was great, showers were hot and quick, the pool was set in a lovely spot, and breakfast was well arranged with plenty of options. However, there was no waste paper bin in the room—only one in the toilet. My husband found the outside noisy at night, but that’s Brazil, and the weekend happened to be a public holiday so everyone was out partying. His bed was a bit narrow and he fell out of it one night! I slept well every night, and overall we loved the hotel and the staff; everything else was great.

The room was clean, the bed was good, and the pillows were nice. The shower was very good, breakfast was plentiful and well served, everything was delicious! The location was privileged, just a 5‑minute walk to the historic center.

Pousada do Príncipe was great because it’s a nice hotel that’s clean, beautiful, attentive to small details, and caters to guests’ needs. What made it special was the extremely warm feeling we experienced, the people’s smiles, and the genial hospitality we enjoyed. Overall, it had a wonderful vibe that made us happy and wanting to return. The room size was okay, but it would be more comfortable if it were a little bigger.

Excellent location, steps from the historic center, close to everything. Very good service, everyone is very attentive. And the breakfast was INCREDIBLE! Ideal for enjoying Paraty. The sound insulation could be better, but it doesn’t affect much.
