There was hardly anything I could praise; the only decent thing was the breakfast buffet, which was merely average. The whole facility feels far too old, the tatami is dirty, and I didn’t want to use the bathroom in the room; the large communal bath is no different from any other onsen inn.

I appreciated being met outside as soon as I arrived, and the open‑air bath was pleasant—by around 9 pm it was practically private. On the downside, the toilet in the room looks dated and could use a replacement, and it would be helpful to leave a spare towel for guests who forget theirs at the changing area (I did, and had to trek back to the room for one).

I enjoyed a decent view of 三河湾, but the hotel’s spot was rather inconvenient and the sauna shut down far too early.

The access road was really comfortable, I enjoyed driving on it. But, I had a hard time with the hotel's air conditioning - it was either too hot or too cold, and I ended up switching it on and off a bunch of times during the night.

The food was amazing, and the views from the bathroom and room were great too. One thing that was a bit off was the sauna temperature - it was just a bit too low for my liking.
