“Yarmouths Great”
The place was cheap, the staff were friendly, and the location was great – just 3 minutes from the £4.95 cinema, next to Great Yarmouth FC, 3 minutes from the pier and the bottom of Regent Road pedestrian street, a minute from the beach, a 10‑minute walk to the main town, and 20 minutes to the railway station. There were plenty of towels, keyless entry with a number code, and the room was quiet. The strip and town offered loads of eateries, pubs, and takeaway spots nearby. The big room (6) had a double and a single bed; the single was turned round to create more space, and there was a mirror with a light above. The place was nice but could use a bit of TLC – only one toilet roll, a shower tray that drained very slowly, and it was hard not to see water pooling on the floor.
