Élysée Hôtel

“Sehr gerne wieder!”

The building is very nice. Our room was spacious and clean. The lady at reception was very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, right in the centre with many bars and restaurants within walking distance. Parking was possible in the car park across the street. The parking situation was problematic when checking in to find out the arrangements. My husband had to stop half on the pavement and half on the road while I walked into the hotel. The police had already approached him when I returned from reception and was able to explain why he had stopped there.

“bien”

The staff is very friendly, the hotel is well‑located, and the rooms are well maintained, clean, and comfortable. There’s also a cute little cat that can keep you company. The breakfast offered very few options (only croissants, toast, jams, and soft butter + hot drinks) and was a bit too expensive for what it offered. The parking is also an issue: although it’s in front of the hotel, it only has two spots that are quickly taken.

The welcome was pleasant and professional, parking was available, and breakfast was fine. It was quite noisy at the start of the night with passing cars and engine sounds.

“Overall excellent value. Friendly manager.”

The little terrace was a nice extra. Nobody was on site when we arrived, but we sorted that out easily.
