Excellent welcome, adorable staff. The rooms are very pretty and the bedding is good. The kitchen courtyard is nice. The food isn’t great compared to what you find in Hanoi or elsewhere (even street food). The air conditioning was very cold, as confirmed by other guests in different rooms.

The cruise was a great way to see Halong and Lan Ha Bays; the rooms were very comfortable, the activities were well organised, and the staff were friendly and well trained. The only downside was the sheer amount of food—most of the meals went uneaten because there was so much. Traveling with kids, we also wished we had brought some plain snacks like crisps or muesli bars, and there was no way to buy them on board; perhaps the cruise line could consider offering that.
