“Gastvrij verblijf in een natuurlijke omgeving”
If you want to experience life on the Panamanian countryside, this ranch is a fantastic place to stay; we thoroughly enjoyed Auxi’s hospitality, the delicious dinner and breakfast, and the stunning natural surroundings. Everything feels authentic, pure, and honest. You can take walks nearby and admire various crafts. We highly recommend it and would love to return.
The rural, family‑friendly, quiet and secure location was great. Maria, the owner, was very welcoming, and we had a lovely exchange over a good typical Panamanian meal. Thank you for her hospitality.
“Ein Erlebnis für Ausländer”
The property is in a rural setting next to the family house. The owner showed us the plants and fruit grown in her garden. There is only one double room and a 6‑bed room, so the chance of being the only guest is high. The host prepared a spontaneous dinner for which we paid a fair price. Breakfast was freshly made with local ingredients. The accommodation is perfect for a rural Panama trip. The host speaks fluent English. Guests have their own kitchen and a covered terrace with hammocks. The road is full of potholes because the Panamanian state does not care. The room has no air conditioning, only a fan, which is not a problem since it is usually cool in the mountains. Overall the accommodation meets local standards.
“Bedbugs and a lot of other insects”
The owner was nice and greeted us with fresh fruit and breakfast. We were severely bitten by bedbugs and had to leave after the first night. The room had plenty of large ants and holes in the windows that let insects in. At 50 USD per night in Costa Rica we had places I rate 10, in Panama that is not enough I guess. We were forced to find another location at the very last moment and pay a premium.
“TDA Misiones”
Mrs Maria was very attentive to everything we needed. There was a bit of space between the beds 🤗
