I was genuinely impressed and ended up staying at Point Breeze Guest House because the Inn on Negley was booked. The place felt familiar from my 1978 visits and I plan to stay here again. I didn’t see breakfast being prepared, but the coffee, cereal, and fresh fruit in the room more than compensated for that.

The location was excellent; we attended a wedding at the Frick and the room matched the photo perfectly and was very comfortable. The breakfast fell short—it offered cereal, bananas, and apples, but a toaster loaf or yogurt would have been welcome.

The neighborhood was wonderful, a beautiful and quiet area with easy walking access to great eateries. The staff were friendly and we never felt unsafe. The room was spotless, stocked with coffee, cereal, fruit, and a mini fridge with water and creamers right next to it. Shower water pressure was strong, and the room was clean. We requested extra pillows and had reading lights over the bed, which were provided. I would definitely return. The only drawback was the lack of an extra towel bar in the bathroom; I also struggled with the mattress because of a bad back, experiencing significant pain on the second night that made sleeping difficult.
