I loved the spot and the friendly folks, but the breakfast wasn’t on my booking.

The hotel sits nicely on Cesenatico’s canal, making it easy to explore the town and beaches; the room offered a beautiful canal view and, despite the nightlife, it was surprisingly quiet. The staff were kind and helpful, so overall it’s a place I’d definitely recommend. The only downside this year was the lack of breakfast due to staff shortages, which wasn’t a big issue because there are plenty of nearby spots, but I missed the pleasant 2nd‑floor breakfast room of past years.

Casa Dodici is a genuinely good‑quality property thanks to its unique furnishings, and the housekeeping service is really solid. Its location on the canal port is very peaceful. Unfortunately, the main complaint is that they removed the breakfast staff and minimal assistance, leaving you largely on your own and sometimes slow to respond. Compared to my 2025 stay, I felt a bit off‑balance. Prices have risen at the expense of services, which is a real shame—Casa Dodici felt like paradise to me, and I hope they revisit what I mentioned.
