The spot is fantastic – just a short walk to Wojciech, plenty of good eateries, a Żabka nearby, and Dino about a 15‑20‑minute stroll; bus stops and the substitute train stop are also close, and Stawy Biskupie is within easy reach. The room matched the photos and description, and the large fridge on the floor was a nice perk, while the ground‑floor kitchen was well stocked with coffee, tea, dishes and a microwave, so cooking was no problem; the neighbourhood is quiet with little traffic, and the owner was pleasant to chat with. My first issue was arriving around 13:30 with luggage and my dog to find nobody at the property despite what I’d been told, and I couldn’t even get into the building; I was told I could check in after 15:00 but had been promised earlier access. The owner isn’t on‑site every day, which was inconvenient, and the balcony I wanted was there but not really usable for relaxing, its tiles needed repair and it was shared with another single room (which happened to be vacant for most of my two‑week stay). The bathroom smelled oddly, didn’t look like the photos, had cracked floor tiles, a slightly tilted toilet seat (later adjusted) and a makeshift strip added to the floor to hide the cracks; the cold‑water tap didn’t work, and the hot water would run out after a short time, though the shower was fine. Warm water took a few minutes to appear, and only one large towel was provided, with no small mat for stepping out of the shower. The single thin blanket was uncomfortable, and after a week I asked for a second one, which improved sleep a bit. The corridor light by the room was out. Overall, the place lacked attention to guest comfort and basic upkeep, and unless you ask specifically, nothing gets fixed.

The photos attached were misleading; the shower cabin had dirty glass, mold, a rusty tub, unstable cup holders, and no place to put anything—everything was dirty and rusty. The skylight window lacked a blind, the window had no sunshade, the temperature outside was 30 °C, the glass seemed unwashed for about a year, the light switch near the door was broken, the TV remote was faulty and didn’t work, the TV decoder had no remote—after the receptionist intervened she gave a remote for the decoder but none for the TV, and there was spiderwebs behind the TV. The entrance was not tidy or swept. I’m requesting a refund for my stay.

The place was amazing and so peaceful that my wife and I could truly relax; the host went out of her way to help, even arranging a surprise for my wife, and the mountain view was spectacular—I highly recommend it and will definitely come back next year.

The rooms were spacious; we had two connected rooms plus a bathroom. The bedding and towels were provided. In the bathroom there was soap and a hairdryer. We could enjoy coffee and tea in the dining area. We rented the jacuzzi exclusively, and that was a brilliant choice – the jacuzzi was roomy, highly recommend!
