The owner was very friendly and helpful, sharing a lot about the nomads, and the food was delicious.
“Lieu authentique, en connexion avec la culture et l’histoire des berbères”
Ahmed was incredibly welcoming, taught us how to play the tam tam, and took us on a walk to the nearby village. The setting was quiet, authentic, unique, and peaceful, making for a truly remarkable experience. The hotel sits at the base of a gorge with a breathtaking view; if you have time, climb the hill for an even better perspective. I highly recommend it! The only downside is the weak Wi‑Fi inside, but it improves once you step outside.
“Einfach, aber sauber und originell.”
Dinner and breakfast were good, and the location is lovely right at the entrance to the Dades Gorge. The rooms are simple but clean. The host is very friendly and reliable; when I lost a keychain at the parking lot, he sent me the keys to D at a reasonable cost. A few more places to hang clothes would be beneficial.
“Wir können diese einfache aber schöne Unterkunft weiterempfehlen . Wir haben uns da sehr wohl gefühlt.”
The place was spotless and thoughtfully decorated; the host welcomed us with a cup of tea and spent time answering all our questions. He cooked a delicious dinner for us that evening, and later we all jammed on drums together. Nothing else to complain about – everything was great.
“Prachtig logeren bij een heel vriendelijke gastheer met gevoel voor humor!”
In early May 2026 we stayed with Ahmed just outside the tourist season, so we were the only guests at his hotel. Our time there was fantastic. Ahmed proved to be the best host during our road trip through Morocco, showcasing his culinary skills each night. He also took the time to chat with us and act as a guide, showing us spots we would have missed otherwise. The hotel features a cozy dining corner, a large lobby with comfortable seating, and our two‑person room was spacious with a separate toilet and shower. The bed was large and comfortable—not too soft or too firm. We wholeheartedly recommend staying with Ahmed and plan to return to explore more of this beautiful region. Nothing to note otherwise.
