A beautiful house in a lovely country setting, with friendly, welcoming, and helpful staff; a complimentary chauffeur service takes guests to Carmel every evening, which is brilliant. We left at 6.45 a.m. to be four hours south the next day for a family event, missing the fabulous breakfast, but Julia gave us a large bag of a delicious feast for the journey—much appreciated.

The bed was the most comfortable ever! Staff were totally fantastic, and it was peaceful, luxurious, and well appointed—no negatives.

Adele took care of us throughout the visit, even driving us from a restaurant in Cartmel back to Aynsome Manor after dinner, and breakfast was fantastic. Nothing else was problematic.

The property was beautifully decorated, every detail thought out, and the hospitality was among the best we’ve ever experienced; even our dog Dusty was treated like royalty, so we’re happy we chose Aynsome Manor for our celebrations. Highly recommend.
